2000 Thailand Krabi

From February 18 - March 3, 2000 we spent 2 weeks in Thailand. After a 10 hours flight with Thai-Airways from Frankfurt to Bangkok we visited the 13-million-residents-city for 2 days. The temperature with 36°C was quite warm compared to the local winter weather in Germany. And luckily there was no rain that the humidity was not too high. A city like Bangkok is quite amazing but also exhausting. So we left Bangkok at February 20 by plane and went to Krabi, a town at the South-West coast of Thailand. From Krabi-Airport we were picked up by an organized van, which took us within 30 minutes to our hotel called “Krabi Seaview” in Ao Nang. Ao Nang grew from a little fishermen village to a huge tourist-center with hotels, restaurants, bars and shops. The dive spots in front of Ao Nang were 2 - 2 1/2 hours away by boat. The visibility reached from 5 to 30 m. The attractions: Leopard Sharks, different kind of Moray Eels, Sea Snakes, many different types of nudibranchs and much more. Especially emphatic was our positive experience with the divecenter “Ao Nang Divers” which is related to the Krabi Seaview hotel in Ao Nang. All pictures are outsourced stillpictures from the video. This film production is dedicated to the category travel film, scuba diving film, wild life film and underwater film.
